Our Holiday Season

At the Pumpkin Patch in Riverton that Amy and Gary always go to

At the Flyers Hockey game in Philly!

After my friend, Catelin's, Rececption, we capture this awesome photo

Our First Christmas Tree :)

Our Christmas was almost without a tree!! Fortunatley Amy found us an inexpensive one! It is about 4ft tall, but just perfect for the two of us :) This christmas we have hidden our presents for eachother well, and not spilled any "beames" about them! So all presents are going to be a complete surprise, we are so excited and giddy like little kids haha. We had an awesome Christmas lesson with our primary kids last sunday about what Candy Canes symbolize and what Gold, Frankincense, and myrrh were. Then of course since we're the best teachers ever, gave them candy and a sweet christmas cup. They were one happy group of kids.

Well for Christmas this year, Taylor and I will be going with the Beames family to San Antonio, TX! Leaving Christmas eve and coming back a few days later. We are so excited to go visit a new place! We will visit the Riverwalk and the Alamo and Jan has some other fun stuff planned for us. So, last year Pennsylvania, this year Texas! We were in PA for Thanksgiving visiting the fam and had a fun time. I shopped all the time with my sistas and mike and taylor hung out and we all went to the Flyers game, which they won!! So our Holiday Season has been filled with traveling, it awesome.

Pina Colada mmmMMmm

This was our favorite drink in all the land of Hawaii. Pina Colada (no worries its virgin ha)

MAYBE if i ever figure out how to post a picture from facebook to here than the above caption would make more sense! SHEESH

CHEESE-ITS

We have been married for two days!!! Right now we are on our way to Kona, HI and wish this flight would end or somebody would give us free food. Our first flight to San Fran was short and sweet. I had some dried fruit from jan but couldn't eat it with out making Tay puke because of the smell lol. So here we are hungry of course and there were these people in front of us with cheese-its...we were in immediate covet of the cheese-its. So we landed and our other plane was boarding already so we ran to find which gate to go to on the tv thing. Then ran to the gate, but we did pass a shop with cheese it's in it. Were we running late and could have missed our flight? Yes. But c'mon it was cheese it's. So we hurried and bought our heavenly bag of cheesy squares AND of course made our flight just in time, because we Beames are amazing like that. So of course we scarfed the whole bag down (it wasn't that big) before this second flight even took off. And now back to where I started our lovely story...we are again angry that there are no peanuts, cookies pretzels, nada. But we are surviving and just enjoying time alone, and being our silly selves. :) oh, and Taylor is sick of crying babies who haunt him in his sleep, on the plane, and who knows where next.

A grand fiasco!

So we finally slaughtered the apartment beast. Striking its head off and we watched in die until it was dead. That pretty much says what we were thinking the past two to three months, while we were looking for a place to shack up. ha ha I'm funny. We found a awesome basement apartment in draper 5 minutes from I-15. It is 1400 sq feet. The living area is small but, we have a huge kitchen, room, and bathroom. The kitchen looks really new and hopefully today we can go get our new table. Epic city!
We are down to the final weeks until we do the whole thingy people tend to call marriage. Polly's parental unit Pam will be out here at the end of the week and we are just excited to start the party. We are moving in on the first (don't worry not together) and we have 80 things all over utah to move into this central location. We will post apartment pictures later on but, until then chao!

Registering...Part 2

Ok I didn't storm off, I walked away because I was tired of being at walmart and trying to figure out what we needed. And tay just wanted to play and I just wanted to get it done. So maybe sort of stormed off. Haha but not like stompin my feet or anything! sheesh. So anyways after we went to walmart, got distracted, and our registry there is very random haha. SO when we went to Bed Bath & Beyond we decided to take Jan with us. We only had an hour because the BYU game was about to come on tv. So we rushed to bed bath, Jan registered us while we looked for stuff we wanted. We looked at all the bedding and couldn't really find anything that we liked. Until the last row we saw "the one". We loved it! It's brown and green. We realized that bed bath was our last place to register and that we had a comforter picked out and we were so that happy we finally had found one; so we paused and hugged right there next to the comforter set, hahah. From there we went through the kitchen supplies (which got us really excited to cook) and pick out towels and such. Deciding colors for our own little home was fun. For our bathroom we decided a blueish and a rustic brown. Bedroom is rustic brown and green. And kitchen is black, ivory, and some color (green, red, or burnt orange). Our conclusion between the two stores is that Bed Bath and Beyond was much easier and funner than the Walmart one. Walmart's list isn't very detailed from what I hear, so it makes it hard for family and friends to know exactly what we wanted from there. So we'll see I guess! If people get confused, just send us the mulah!
